Great Ben & Jerry's in a collegiate setting. The store is relatively small, but great counter staff and a good selection of "standard" and new flavors. There are also pints to buy of you want to take some with you. There is space for about 20 to sit inside and about 10 or so outside not counting "find a place to park yourself" seating in the general area. Parking is difficult in the area, plan to park a bit away to walk to the store. It is a worthwhile walk as the store is in a residential/college area and isn't a bad stroll.

This Ben & Jerry’s location on Brown Street is the absolute perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth, especially being so close to the UD campus. The energy here is always fun and upbeat. They have an amazing selection of flavors available, including all the classic favorites and their latest limited-edition creations, plus great non-dairy options. The ice cream is always served at the perfect consistency, and the waffle cones are freshly made and smell incredible the second you walk through the door. The staff is fantastic—super patient while you choose your flavors and always generous with the samples. It's a clean, vibrant, and welcoming shop that's perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing a quick treat after a meal nearby. A true staple of the Dayton area!

Whoever was working April 18th, 2026 by herself did a great job when 21 people walked in and she was the only person working. Our group very much enjoyed her service and the food.

In the past, I've had excellent experiences with this shop ordering ice cream cakes. This particular experience was not as smooth. I ordered a small ice cream cake online a week and a half prior to needing it, I did not get an email or confirmation or get charged so the next day I called and was told it was not in the system and it needed to be approved by the owner, to call back 24 hours. I did so, and it still was not in the system, that person said that they would take down my phone number and give it to the owner who would personally call me as soon as he got in and either confirm my order, or place a new one. I waited three days and heard nothing, so I went down to the shop and asked if he got the message. No one knew, and since it had been that long, I just went ahead and placed the cake order in the shop and paid for it. I wasn't offered a receipt, thankfully though I had purchased from them before and got one in my email that I used before from square. I went in on the date I was supposed to pick it up, the cake was ready but the clerk asked for me to pay for it, saying that it wasn't marked as paid. Thankfully, as I mentioned, I had an email that showed I paid otherwise I

A nice place to get ice cream. Lot of flavors to choose from. The staff were friendly. There is outdoor seating as well. The brownie here was amazing. I would definitely go for the brownie with ice cream (if you haven’t tried). Street parking is free but not might be available all the time.
